Charm/Lyla

Charm, called Lyla by her incredible foster Kristian, is approximately a 7 year young lab mix. She's probably one of the sweetest souls we have ever had the honor to help. We don't know her life before she came to the shelter as a stray, however, based on her teeth, she clearly was crated excessively OR ate rocks for food when left without.......<br/>She was extremely thin when we got her, however, with consistent feedings of puppy food and treats, she's putting on some much needed lbs.<br/>Surprisingly, she's healthy per our vets and heartworm negative on testing. We were overjoyed to learn that......she's been through enough!<br/>She LOVES people and will just sit looking at you for pets. She also loves playing with other pups. It has taken her a minute to understand toys, but now that she gets it, she enjoys the fun that toys bring.<br/>She crates well and if you look into her eyes, you can see her shining soul, filled with gratitude and forgiveness from her previous life.
