Charlotte's Story
We are now accepting applications for Charlotte; however, please note that she will not be ready to go to her new home for a few weeks. Charlotte is an 1824 month old French Bulldog currently living in a foster home with other dogs. She generally gets along well with most dogs but can be dog-selective, so careful introductions are important. We are actively working on her housebreaking, and we are looking for an adopter who will be patient and committed to continuing this training. She has a very sweet temperament and absolutely loves people. Since we do not have any known history of her living with children, we are cautious when considering homes with kids.

Charlotte has already received extensive veterinary care. She has been spayed, microchipped, tested for heartworm, and is on heartworm and flea prevention. She is up to date on her rabies, distemper, and bordetella vaccines. As a private, all-volunteer rescue organization, we pay these costs out of pocket to ensure each dog is healthy and sterilized before adoption. Your adoption donation not only helps cover Charlottes care, but also directly supports our mission to rescue dogs and cats from euthanasia lists, especially seniors and animals with significant medical needs.

Because we are a small, volunteer-run group, we receive many applications for dogs like Charlotte. IF YOUR APPLICATION IS APPROVED, WE WILL REACH OUT TO YOU. WE DO NOT HAVE THE TIME TO EMAIL EACH PERSON EVERY DAY OR PROVIDE INDIVIDUAL UPDATES ON STATUS. The length of the process can vary depending on individual circumstances, and it may take several weeks. We kindly ask for your patience and understanding.

Here is how our process works:
Applications are reviewed and then forwarded to the foster family who knows the dog best.
The foster family selects the candidates whose applications appear to best match the dogs needs.
We then contact veterinary and personal references and may conduct a home visit.

All of these steps are designed to ensure the best possible match for both you and Charlotte, and they do take time.

If you feel that you can provide a stable, loving home and are committed to continuing her training and care, we encourage you to submit an application. Your willingness to adopt a rescue dog truly helps save lives.
