Charlie- In Foster!

Charlie is full of character and love, and he's waiting to meet YOU! Charlie was so VERY lucky to have a foster come in to take them to their home. Keep reading to find out what they've learned:<br/><br/>Charlie is 3.5 years old and weighs 35lbs. He LOVES his toys and is usually pretty good about bringing them back for you to throw again! Fetch KING! He is very treat & food motivated which will help with his training. Charlie still needs some support with potty training, but he's been awesome at eating his meals in a crate. Continuing this training will help Charlie succeed in a future home! <br/>His foster's say:<br/>Cat Friendly: Charlie met multiple cats under our foster care. He is curious but completely non-aggressive. Make sure to practice slow introductions. <br/>Dog Friendly: He loves other dogs and plays beautifully. One of his favorite foster moments was running high-speed zoomies with a pointer-nosed Beagle!<br/>Home Alone Champ: Once he gets a good energy burn, Charlie is wonderful home alone. He is non-destructive, non-anxious, and trustworthy. <br/> Active & Playful<br/>Hiking Buddy: Charlie's dream family is an active one. He absolutely loves hitting the trails and exploring nature.<br/>Fetch Fanatic: He is obsessed with fetch! He will happily trot around the house with a ball in his mouth when he's ready to play.<br/>Nature Lover: Charlie loves chasing butterflies and lounging outside in the warm grass.<br/> Gentle with Kids<br/>Kid Approved: Charlie spent supervised time with kids aged 2 and 6.<br/>Gentle Doggie: He was incredibly sweet taking treats from them, playing fetch, and relaxing nearby while they played.<br/> A Little Patience Goes a Long Way<br/>Shy at First: Charlie starts off very timid and needs a patient family. He tends to warm up to women and children the fastest.<br/>The Reward: It only takes a few days for him to show his true colors. Once he warms up, he becomes a deeply loving boy.<br/>The Best Greeting: There is nothing quite like coming home to Charlie greeting you at the front door with a happily wagging tail. It will bring a smile to your face every single day!<br/><br/>So if you need someone to hit the trails with this year..
