Charlie's Story

Hi! My name is Charlie and I am looking for a forever home. Me and my friend were surrendered to a small rescue after our owners claimed we were "chasing chickens" and said they no longer wanted us. A volunteer with that rescue contacted BCAA to see if they could help us and they said yes! I appear to be a dachshund mix (no telling what that mix might be!), am only around 1 year old but past all of that puppy foolishness and I weigh a little over 21lbs, not too small but not too big. I love getting attention even more than getting treats (but I won't turn one down!). I have gotten along with all of the other dogs I have met and haven't bothered those things called cats that I've encountered. I have done really well in my crate without any accidents, barking or tearing up of bedding. I'm good on leash and enjoy going on walks as it means I get to be with you and out on an adventure. If you would like to meet me, please fill out an application which can be found at www.bcaaofnj.org.
