CHARLIE's Story

CHARLIE: GOOD COMPANY

Some dogs take time to warm up. Charlie is not one of them.

This three year old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel approaches life with enthusiasm and assumes that everyone he meets is a friend. People, children, other dogs, and even new situations are greeted with optimism and curiosity. He meets each day expecting something good to happen.

Charlie enjoys being active and would love a family that includes him in their daily routine. He is always up for a game of fetch, time in the yard, or a walk around the neighbourhood. Charlie gets very excited on walks and would benefit from continued work on his leash manners. He is eager to please, already knows some basic commands, and responds well to consistent guidance.

At home, Charlie is an easy dog to live with. He is house trained, does well with structure, and can be comfortably crated when needed. When left alone, he is content with his bed and a chew. He barks to alert but is otherwise quiet.

Charlie enjoys the company of other dogs and could live with another small breed dog or a calm, respectful larger dog. While he likes having canine friends, his main interest is being part of whatever his people are doing.

Charlie is neutered, vaccinated, microchipped and weighs 23 lbs.

If you have the time, the love and the dedication for CHARLIE please fill out an application at:
https://gerdysrescue.org/adoption-form/

No direct message inquiries, please.
We adopt to Montreal and surrounding areas only.
We will only respond to applicants who match the requirements.
