MEET CHARLIE!<br/><br/>Tampa, FL.<br/>Male<br/>Chihuahua Terrier Mix <br/>3 years old<br/>Neutered, microchipped, and 1st round of vaccines. She will need her boosters in the next week or so. <br/><br/>Charlie is a sweet boy who has really blossomed into his spunky personality. While he can be shy at first, especially around women, he just needs a little time and patience to feel comfortable. Once you've earned his trust, Charlie becomes the ultimate velcro dog. His favorite place is right next to his person, whether that's on the couch, in bed, or curled up in your lap.<br/><br/>Charlie is a bit of a spoiled gentleman and knows exactly what he likes. Kibble is NOT on that list. He enjoys the process of watching his meals be prepared and insists on warm, fresh meals (he's a little human at heart.) He loves being included in daily life and thrives on companionship and affection.<br/><br/>Charlie is making great progress with potty training, but does still have occasional accidents as he adjusts to a new routine. He is also continuing to work on his crate manners. Charlie is slowly but surely coming out of his shell. As he gains more confidence, he has been exploring his surroundings and taking in the world around him. He can be quite vocal at times and loves sitting by the window to keep an eye on the neighborhood.<br/><br/>Charlie does not mind other animals, but prefers his people. He would do best in a home with another calm, respectful dog to help him feel secure or with someone who is home more often than not. He is looking for a patient family willing to give him the time he needs to settle in and show his true goofy personality.
