Charlie Beagle Mix Normal, IL

This handsome Beagle mix is Charlie - he is 10 years young and weighs in at about 52 pounds. Charlies LOVES other dogs. In fact, we would prefer he go to a home with another dog, as he has some anxiety if left alone without a doggy friend. If you're looking for the perfect addition, Charlie is pretty perfect - he is potty trained, loves being outside, gets along great with cats, and does very well with children. He is sweet as pie!

Charlie is known to be a bit of an escape artist and he still loves to explore, so he will need a secure fenced in yard or will need an owner dedicated to walking him for all his potty breaks. Car rides and kennels aren't really his thing - so he needs a home where the owner will let him roam the house and one that won't make him go on too many car rides.

Charlie's knees aren't the best, so stairs are difficult for him. He can really only handle 1-2 steps to go in and out of the house. He'd do best in a home without too many stairs. He still has a lot of pep in his step though!

His minimum adoption donation is $225 plus a $12 fee for rabies registration with McLean County Animal Control.

He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
