Charlie's Story

I was discarded by my family last August to the county shelter. I'm about 15, and I've had some bumps along the way. I'm finally ready for my forever home. When I came into rescue I had both eyes. I didn't see very well, and I ended up having both eyes removed after severe infections. I get around fine. I go outside by myself and come in after sniffing around by myself. When the weather is nice I will stay out longer and get my exercise. I'm a quiet fellow. I'm fine with other dogs as long as they don't mind me bumping into them. I'm in good health for my age. Since I'm in the twilight of my life I would love a loving secure home.

Act2Pups Pet Rescue's Adoption Policy
It is always best to make sure your pet(s) get along with the Act2Pups pet that you are interested in. This can be done at an adoption event, or an appointment can be arranged. We ask that all family members visit at the same time if possible. To start the adoption process a completed application is needed. (We currently do not have our application on line, but hope to soon). We will e-mail a copy of the application. Once the application is processed and approved a home visit is performed. This is done more to make sure any concerns pertinent to the dog you are interested in can be addressed. Most senior dogs don't require a large fenced yard. A trial adoption can begin with the home visit. Should the trial begin at the home visit, Act2Pups provides everything the dog requires. The trial usually lasts no more than a week. Any time during the trial the applicant can choose to adopt. All of our senior pups are in foster homes. Contact:   act2pups@yahoo.com for additional information on any of our pups.
