Sweet Charlie spent his years as a breeding dog, and then found himself at a rural shelter. That's when Midwest Animal ResQ, with the help of their awesome fosters, stepped in. <br/><br/>He is now thriving in foster care. What we know so far; he is still pretty shy and learning how to be a dog. He would be best in a home with another dog to show him the ropes, and a fenced in yard where he can sunbathe. He is kennel trained already, and would love a patient and kind person who will teach him all about being a loved family member.<br/><br/>Charlie is around 6-7 years old, has had a dental cleaning, is neutered, and current on preventative medication. He does have a heart murmur, which is a grade 3 with minimal enlargement, and may need heart medication if it progresses.
