It is hard to imagine how a boy as sweet and gentle as Charlie ended up as a stray in Liverpool, but he hasn't let his history dampen his spirit. At 65 pounds, he is a sturdy, handsome lad with the most incredibly soft fur-the kind that makes you want to keep petting him forever. He is a remarkably "easy" dog, proving to be a dream on a leash for our volunteers and a calm companion in almost any setting. While he is head-over-heels for every human he meets, he is a bit more discerning with other dogs, preferring to be the one who calls the shots in his social life.
