Charli Bea's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Charli is an active 3 year old, AKC Registered, spayed, female Basset Hound who loves to play with toys, but mostly loves to interact with her people. She is quite the velcro basset hound who will follow you where ever you go. She is house trained with a doggy door. Charli is currently fostered with another female basset hound and two cats. she gets along fine with both, but she can be a bit rough with the cats if she is wound up. She only wants to play with her feline friends. She has no intentions of hurting them. She loves to jump up on people so Charli is currently working on her greeting manners. She also craves to be the center of attention and she is working on learning how to share her attention with others. Charli has not had the human interaction inside a home so she is quickly learning how to be an inside dog with humans around.Charli is extremely smart and learns quickly. Her egarness to please her people has taught her how to sit and shake. She is a natural right handed dog. Charli maybe a bit too rambunction for smaller kids, such as toddlers. The fear would be that she would unintentionally knock them down not realizing her size.Charli is Heartwork postitive and will start her treatment on 5/27. She will be in treatment 6 to 8 weeks. Once she has completed her treatment she will be available for adoption. If Charli sounds like the perfect dog for you, apply today.
