What makes this dog special: Meet Charlette, a sweet Shepherd/Border Collie mix with a heart full of love and a tail full of wags! This 4-year-old cuddle enthusiast adores snuggling up after a day of playful adventures, cherishing her favorite toys, and showing off her excellent crate and potty training skills. She's great with kids of all ages and gets along well with other dogs, making her the perfect addition to any family dynamic. Though she's not a fan of loud noises, her gentle nature and loving disposition more than make up for it. Eager for a little exercise followed by some quality couch time, Charlette is ready to fill your home with joy and companionship!

Ideal Home/Adopter: With or without dogs or kids. She'll be fine with either. Charlette is a relaxed pup. She sees little kids and is like 'oh look at the nice small humans.'

Likes: So far, she's liked to play with stuffies, antlers, and bones she picked out a favorite Kong when she first got to her foster home. Now she loves to carry her emotional support Kong wherever she goes. Charlette really would like to be a pocket, cuddle dog despite being a little large for a lap dog. Once she gets her wiggles and energy out in the evening she just wants to Velcro at your side and chill until bedtime.

Dislikes: Charlette doesn't like yelling. Do you yell at the TV while watching a game? She is going to sink to the floor thinking she did something wrong.

Additional Considerations: After being crated while her foster fam is at work, she's definitely got some energy to run off. Don't expect her to want to lay around after she already laid around all day. A little play time, a walk, a little fun in the sun (or dreary winter weather) before dinner is what this girlie needs. Then it is nap time on the couch again.

Charlette's adoption fee is $350. All fees include spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations, worming, flea and heartworm current. All dogs over 6 months of age have been tested and are heartworm negative.
