Meet Charles, he is from our new litter, Gone with the Wind! <br/><br/>Charles is a little sweetheart. He tends to be a little unsure of people at first but, once he warms up, he is your happy little shadow. He loves my dogs and cats and he is very good about not chasing the cats. He sleeps through the night like a champ. He is great at playing independently. Biggest hurdle so far is convincing him to go outside for any reason, even after we got him a little sweater, so potty training is a work in progress. He is a great little traveler, usually falls asleep within minutes of getting in the car. He is a little ball of love and joy and such a good boy. If you are hoping for a more pug-like pup, Charles here is your man. His tail is curly and his nose is more smushed, he even has the little pug grumble/snore when he sleeps.<br/><br/>Born on 11/19/2025, this adorable crew is a unique mix of Husky, Boxer, Miniature Pinscher, and Pug—each one bringing something special to the table.<br/><br/>They’ve been well socialized, lovingly cared for, and are growing into confident, happy pups.<br/><br/>They were vetted on February 11, and applications are now open for their forever homes. Spay/neuters will be scheduled. If you’re ready to give one of these little stars a fresh start, tomorrow could be the day everything changes — for both of you.<br/><br/>Send us a message or apply today on our website.<br/><br/>Our process begins by submitting an application on our website midlandcountypitstop.org (be sure the top of the app says MCPS Adoption Application, which is our new app). Once submitted you will get a confirmation email or text saying we received your application.<br/><br/>Apps are processed fully in the order received.<br/><br/>The app process is as follows:<br/>- vet check (current & recent pets must be s/n, UTD on vax, HW tested and on HW Prev at least 6 mo of the yr)<br/>- cats must be triple tested<br/>- background check<br/>- video home chat of you, your family and we've love to meet your current pets as well<br/>- then we set up the meet & greet<br/><br/>All pets are vaccinated to age, s/n (or it's scheduled) and microchipped<br/><br/>Please contact us by text or call 989.948.1096 with any questions you may have.<br/><br/>Dog:<br/>Remember those puppy points:<br/>- All current/recent pets in the home must be spayed/neutered<br/>- All current/recent pets in the home must be UTD on vaccinations, test annually for HW and in HW Preventive regularly<br/>- Adoption cost includes first round of vaccinations, rabies (if of age), spay/neuter and microchip<br/>- Go to midlandcountypitstop.org<br/>Go to applications and click on “I want to adopt”
