Meet Charity

Meet Charity, a very sweet, soft-furred 5 year old female (racing name ‘Story of my life’; a.k.a. “Chare-bear”or “Wags”!!! - her tail is always doing windmills!). She LOVES attention, especially belly rubs, and having her people close by!

She came to us needing surgery on her rear left leg (torn ligament racing injury). After twelve weeks, she is putting weight on the leg while walking but reverts to “hopping” when she wants to speed up! She is now comfortable with stairs and little holds her back!

She walks fairly well on the leash, although has a very strong prey drive and a determined spirit (squirrels and chipmunks watch out!!)

Charity is very well house trained and will sleep in her crate - although prefers her bed in the living room. She had always behaved so we leave her out most of the time.

Charity is somewhat bossy over her food and toys. Did I say that she loves her food?! I think she could eat all day long.

Charity will do best being the only dog in the home.
