CHAP's Story

Hi, my name is Chap, and I’m a playful, energetic pup ready to find my forever home!

I absolutely love to fetch—give me a ball and I’ll happily chase it for hours. I’m also a smart boy who already knows commands like sit and shake (especially if there’s a treat involved!). I get along great with other dogs and enjoy a good game of chase with my furry friends.

I’m currently heartworm positive, but don’t worry—my treatment will be fully provided by MCAC. I’ll just need a family who can support me through that process and give me the care I deserve.

My ideal home would have older children who understand how to interact with dogs, and I’d do best in a cat-free environment. Because I have lots of energy, a fenced-in yard is a must so I can run, play, and be my happiest self.

I’m a really good boy looking for someone experienced with my breed who can give me structure, love, and plenty of playtime. If you’re searching for a loyal, fun-loving companion, I might just be your perfect match.

I can’t wait to meet you!
—Chap ?? If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm. My adoption fee is $150

I’m a really good boy looking for someone experienced with my breed who can give me structure, love, and plenty of playtime. If you’re searching for a loyal, fun-loving companion, I might just be your perfect match.
