Meet Chance!
Everyone deserves one - this guy certainly does! Chance looks like a boxer mix and is suspected to be around 6-8 months old. We have no idea the extent of abuse he endured, but when he was found , he was an emaciated 15 lbs and chained with a heavy metal chain around his neck. For having this kind of start to life, Chance is the sweetest, most loving boy. He loves all people, but at first pet will cower a bit. Once he feels a gentle pet, he will shove his whole body into you for more love!
He is submissive to his foster brothers. He will not fight over food, a toy or a bone. Although he came here ravenous, he allowed us to stick our hands in his bowl, take the bowl away from him and as of recent he has let his foster brother share! He likes to play with cats, and if they run, he will start to chase but with a firm NO, he halts. He may have learned this from his one foster brother ?
He loves to chew bones, kongs and is just learning how to play with toys! His favorite thing to do is lay on the couch with his people. For being a puppy, he’s pretty calm!!
Chance is ready for a family who will give him all the love he deserves. Open your hearts and home and love this guy - it will be reciprocated exponentially!

We are in Rochester, NY, we adopt to people who live in the Rochester area. We do not ship our dogs and require home visits. Must live in area to adopt, will not respond to out of area/country requests. Additionally we require physically fenced yard for dog/pup to play in safely. Exceptions are sometimes made to this requirement but is up to the foster and more often done for the small breed dogs.

All our dogs have been treated with dewormer; heartworm tested (if age appropriate -7 mths or older); treated for fleas/ticks; microchipped; and examined by veterinarian plus given age appropriate vaccinations. We take every effort to ensure the health of the animal and you will receive a copy of all vet work performed at time of adoption. Dogs will be spayed/neutered thru us prior to finalizing any adoption.

We provide information on dogs age and breed based on what we are told by person surrendering dog or vet's best guess. While we try our best we cannot guarantee that this information is 100% accurate and can often be best guess in case of our lovable mutts.
