Champ's Story

He’s the type who benefits from clear boundaries so he doesn’t take charge of the household. With the right leadership, he’ll blossom into a well‑mannered, loyal companion. However, he doesn't get along with most dogs. A meet and greet would have to happen to see if Champ would get along with your dog. He also needs an alpha human that doesn't put up with his naughtiness. Some of his other issues are the following:

-pulls on the leash and lunges and barks at dogs going by

-even though he likes people he also has been known to nip and bark at them

-he resource guards his person, which means if you are a couple, he may bark at the person that he not as fond of.

His Ideal Home

Champ will do best in an active home—one that enjoys walks, playtime, and keeping both his mind and body busy. He’s looking for adopters who won’t let him “run the show,” but will instead help him channel his energy in positive ways.

Are you that special alpha person(s) that Champ needs? We would enjoy hearing from you.
