CHALUPA Chihuahua Bradenton, FL

8-year-old, tan chihuahua, and weighs 6 pounds. Chalupa came in as a seized custody case after her owner passed away and no next of kin came for her. During her medical exam, it was noted she had mammary tumors, nodules, and sclerosis in both eyes. After seeing her extensive medical issues, the vets declined her for spay and deemed her an as-is rescue only case. Chalupa came in with a sibling who was able to be adopted while she was left behind, alone in a shelter. Dont be fooled by her chihuahua genetics she is the kindest little friend there is. Chalupa loves to cuddle, enjoys chin pets, and would love to be surround by love again. Chalupa is up to date on all vaccines and microchipped. We will be taking her to our vet for exam re mammary tumors and overall health check.

PUPDATE 2/3 Chalupa is with a foster in St Pete.. She will have surgery on the 15th undergoing a complete mastectomy, and a spay.. Vet says she has a very good outcome!! Her bloodwork is perfect!! She has been out and about in town, loves all people and dogs!!! Quite the little adventurer!! 2/28 PUPDATE~~ Chalupa is now spayed and has had all those mammary tumors removed. We are looking at clean margins, and xray of chest showed a clear lung picture!! She is now ready for adoption!!! Here is what her foster mom Sarah has to say !!! Chalupa is a little sweet old lady, she loves cuddling and sitting right beside you while you do work. She loves a big comfy dog bed and will hangout comfortably. Shes doing well with being potty trained. Shes great with other dogs, loves following my Chihuahua around the house. She has no problem with big dogs as shes so relaxed they dont bother her.
She is a social butterfly, she says hi to everyone that will pay her attention in public. She walks well on a leash but is slow so she usually just gets carried or in a sling like a princess!!!!
