Chai is roughly 2 months old and one of 2 boys from this litter. Being born on the cold concrete floor in a Central Valley shelter, Chai, his siblings and Mom all caught pneumonia. They were driven to our whelping and bottle baby expert at just days old, where they were given proper care and fully recuperated. Chai is currently being fostered with other dogs and a teenaged kids.<br/><br/>A note from Chai's foster- "He is very playful and energetic. He's great with kids and other dogs and loves to be close to snuggle and cuddle. He would make a great activity partner because he has endless amounts of energy!"<br/><br/>We do not fully know what breed these puppies are with no known father, but we believe they are most likely a dachsund mix, but as they are rescues, we do our best guess.<br/><br/>While these puppies have been fostered with children, we prefer the to be placed in homes with children over the age of 5 to ensure their safety.<br/><br/>These pups are adoptable in Santa Rosa (Sonoma County) 95403. We will only adopt within driving distance of Santa Rosa. We do not ship dogs.<br/><br/>Applications will only be reviewed if you submit all required steps: application, home photos (inside as well as front and backyards) as well as a walk through video. Once approved and selected, you will do a contract and prepayment online and you will be given an adoption appointment that aligns with our scheduling.
