Chad's Story

Meet Chad — Heartworm Survivor & Certified Goofball!
Chad came to us heartworm positive, which meant his world had to slow way down. No running. No roughhousing. No zoomies. Just rest, treatment, and a whole lot of patience.
But guess what?! Chad has completed his heartworm treatment, tested NEGATIVE, and he is READY TO LIVE!
And this boy has some lost time to make up for! Chad is a total goofball with a fun personality and a serious case of “Can I PLEASE go run and play now?!” He’s spent so much time having to stay calm that we honestly don't know much about how he does with other dogs yet. As he gets back to being a normal, active pup, we'll learn more about his play style and preferences.
What we DO know is that Chad has waited long enough.
He fought through heartworm treatment. He did everything we asked of him. He stayed quiet when all he wanted to do was play.
Now it’s his turn to break out of shelter life and RUN toward his happily ever after.
Come meet Chad and give this goofy boy the fresh start he worked so hard for.
