Parvo tried to knock me down, but I ain't one to stay down! I'm Celie, a 2 year old, 35 pound Australian Cattle Dog (Blue Heeler) bursting with life and resilience. I will be ready for adoption towards the end of January. . Just like the character in "The Color Purple," I've faced my challenges, surviving parvo and coming out stronger on the other side. Sure, I'm still learnin' the ropes – house and leash trainin' ain't no picnic, and let's just say cats and chickens give me pause (herding instincts, ya know). I do get along with other dogs though. But I'm a quick study, already mastered "sit," "fetch," and "leave it," and I'm still working on "stay" and "down". If you're looking for a four-legged buddy who's up for an adventure, that's me! I'm all about high energy and smart moves. I will need a human with an active lifestyle, i will need a lot of exercise in a fenced yard or with walks, hikes or runs daily. I've got a survivor spirit, and I need someone who can match my zest for life. Every day, I'm ready for a run or walk, and throw in some mental challenges – I'm up for it! I'm not just a pup; I'm a survivor, a friend, and I'm ready to find my forever family who can keep up with my energy and embrace my herding breed quirks. ***I just graduated from the Pups for Parole training program!! I have all the basic training necessary to make a great companion. I will need a family willing to continue my training, I sure don't want to forget all that I learned!***

My adoption fee is $150 and includes my spay/neuter, vaccinations, wellness exam, heartworm test, and microchip!

We do adopt out of state with vet references and video home check. *Adopter is responsible for coming to get the dog and returning the dog if the adoption does not work out*
