Cecil, Silly Dude

Meet our young silly guy named Cecil! We think Cecil is around 1.5 yrs old and he came to our shelter after he was found roaming in town. No one ever came to claim him, so now Cecil is looking for a new family! It looked like Cecil was partially shaved when he first came in. This makes us think that his fur will continuously grow back, and he will need professional grooming in the future, which is an expense to think about. Cecil is an outgoing and active little guy who absolutely loves playing with toys! He will chase them all around for fun. Cecil is also super food motivated and needs to learn to be less grabby when it comes to taking treats. He is a happy little guy who has a little spice to him. Cecil seems fine with other dogs, but we do think he could get protective around his toys with other dogs. There is a short application for adoption, however if you do not own your home, or you own a condo, we must speak with your landlord or housing association giving permission to dogs/cats. Bully breed specific permission is required if you rent or own a condo. If you own your home, proof of home ownership is required. If there are other pets in the home they must be licensed (if a dog) and up to date on vaccinations. If there is another dog in the home a dog interaction must be done at the shelter before adoption, to ensure the safety and well being of all pets. All children in the home need to be declared and brought down to meet the animal.<br/>Applications must be submitted and approved BEFORE a meet and greet can be scheduled to meet an animal.<br/><br/>An approved application does not guarantee an adoption.
