Meet Cece
Hi! My name is Cece and I am a petite and sweet 1 year old lab mix. I used to be called Sissy, but Cece just suits me better. My owner couldn’t care for me anymore due to health reasons, so I came up from Louisiana on a transport full of dogs, and lived in a foster home with 3 teenagers and a 2 yr. old dog.
Life was great there – I loved playing with my fur buddy, learned things like sit and stay, and even learned to ring a bell at the door to go out! I loved my family, and especially loved going on walks and playing fetch. But the best part was being able to snuggle with my peeps at the end of the day.
I was a bit anxious with meeting new people and especially new dogs on leash, so I have been working with a trainer at a board and train camp and have made great progress! I am now more confident greeting people, and am doing much better meeting other dogs on leash. In fact, I have a whole new group of dog buddies that I love to play with - “catch me if you can” is my favorite game! I am a natural at agility and just love running at full tilt around the yard. Life is about experiencing the wind in my ears!
I am looking for a family who will give me lots of opportunities to run and play, and will also be patient with me as I continue to learn that people can be trusted and meeting dogs on leash isn’t so scary after all. And I would love to have some furry friends to play with!
