Cece's Story
Meet Cece!

Cece is a 3–4 year old Hound/Catahoula mix with a heart of gold and a brain to match. This girl is as sweet as they come, incredibly smart, and eager to please — the kind of dog who truly wants to do everything “right” for her people.

Cece was found as a stray and brought into a South Carolina shelter. Once we saw her, it was impossible to overlook her potential, so we decided to give her the fresh start she deserves up north. Since being in care, she has absolutely blossomed. Cece has picked up training very quickly and already knows sit, down, and paw. She is crate trained and, if she isn’t fully potty trained already, she’s well on her way and expected to master it quickly with a consistent routine.

Cece is scheduled to make her journey north on January 24 but needs a foster or adopter to make the journey. We are accepting applications now so her forever family or a future foster family can be ready and waiting when she arrives.

She is fully vetted and ready to step into her next chapter — one filled with stability, love, and a family who will appreciate what an incredible dog she is.

If you’re looking for a loyal, intelligent, people-loving companion, Cece may be your perfect match.

Adopt Cece: www.freedomfirstrescue.com/cece
