Cayenne is a female black and tan chihuahua or similar mix. We estimate her to be 2 years old and she weighs 6-7 lbs. Cayenne is spayed, vaccinated and heartworm negative. She is ready for adoption. <br/><br/>Cayenne was surrendered to a Louisiana shelter along with several other dogs 2/12/2026. Cayenne was immediately the most social of the group. She displays several qualities of the perfect Chihuahua... A little bit bossy with her pack, and very into her human. She definitely wants a person to be her bestie. Cayenne is dog friendly but alpha and would probably not do as well with another alpha female dog. She has a perky, involved personality. If you want to walk her on a leash she will need a little work but Cayenne is potty and kennel trained.<br/><br/>Adoption fee is $250. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
