Catarina-Big, Sweet Hugger!

Hello- I'm Catarina! I'm a big, beautiful lover of a girl! I'm a gorgeous Catahoula, possibly mix, estimated at around 2 years old. I was found emaciated trying to survive on my own when I was thankfully rescued and taken to Guardians of Florida Animal Rescue where I received the general and medical care I needed to be ready for a forever family. I've quickly become a rescue favorite among volunteers and staff as I'm a big hugger and such a gentle girl when taking treats. I even seem to know a few basic commands that we are working on and am ok walking on leash. I have been friendly with all of the humans I've met at the rescue, but best in a home without small kids due to my size and as I still have a bit of puppy energy and don't want to knock little ones over. I've also been very good with other dogs at the rescue, but proper introductions are always necessary and other dogs in the household need to come to the meet and greet to make sure we get along.
