She’s a true velcro dog and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. Cassie is a quick learner and is currently working on her potty training.<br/><br/>She walks nicely on a leash and gets into the car with ease, making her a great companion for adventures. Cassie prefers not to be outside by herself and feels most comfortable when she’s with her people. She thrives during playdates with other dogs and would be delighted to have a companion dog in her forever home to play, explore, and share life with. Cassie isn’t fond of cats, so she’d be happiest in a home without any feline companions.<br/><br/>Cassie is crate trained, though it’s not her favorite place, and she may do a little counter surfing if given the opportunity. She’ll need a home that can keep small items like socks and toys out of reach, as she tends to swallow them.<br/><br/>With a little continued training and lots of love, Cassie will make a loyal and wonderful companion.<br/><br/>This dog is being fostered in Rochester, NY, by Rescued Treasures Pet Adoptions. We are not a shelter, but a foster home-based rescue, and these animals are all housed individually with foster families.<br/><br/>Please review our application carefully and ensure everyone in the family is ready for the lifelong responsibility and commitment of a canine companion.
