Yes, it is a thing and while we can't swear to it, app and descriptions sure match up with our gitl! <br/>Cassie is a medium energy, happy -go-lucky year old girl in search of her forever family. She likes to play with other dogs, both big and small and does not mind cats. Do you have another dog in your family already? She would love that!!!! But if you only have attention, snuggles and time to offer her..... she would love that situation as well!<br/>Cassie is currently enjoying life in her foster home learning to the joy of squeaky stuffed toys - her favorite - how to be part of a family and running and wrestling outside with her doggy friends. She is doing well on a leash, is house trained and sleeps well in her crate at night.<br/>Cassie is about 43lbs, spayed, microchipped, up to date on vetting and house trained. Double Dog Rescue's Adoption Policy
If you are interested in adopting one of our furry friends we ask that you complete an application (which we will forward to you) or download one from our website. We also require a vet reference check and a home visit when possible. Some of our dogs require fenced in yards while others do not. If you are interested in a dog you must e-mail the contact on each dogs petfinder page. Important Information Pertaining to Each Dog A Dogs have received the following before being available for adoption: Routine annual vaccinations, including Rabies, DHLPP, Bordatella (kennel cough), Heartworm Test, Fecal Test, Deworming (Puppies  6 months or younger will not have their rabies as they are too young). Spay/Neuter: All dogs are quarantined for two weeks outside of the shelter (puppies four weeks) to ensure they don't break with disease. Heartworm: Dogs who were treated for Heartworm can test positive up to 4-6 mon
