Hi, my name is Cassie and I am a cute little Chiweenie, which is a fancy way to say I am a Dachshund and Chihuahua blend. I am only 1 year old and I weigh 12 lbs. I am yet another stray dog in Texas where there are many of us running around without any care at all, many times no food, and many times sleeping underneath bushes in the dirt. It’s a very hard life for any dog but especially for a tiny girl just barely out of puppyhood. Lucky for me the city picked me up, sent me to the pound, 4 Little Paws rescue took me, and even though my hair is patchy, they still love me! The vet says it’s a common but easy problem to fix with just some flea treatment, proper nutrition, and proper care. I am loving indoor living! It’s the best! I have my very own doggy bed, regular meals twice a day, I get a bath each week, my toenails were trimmed and I get plenty of kisses from everyone, human and dog. I am feeling a million times better. I get along great with everyone, I’m pretty sure I am housebroken (no accidents inside yet) and even the vet said I am the sweetest pup he's ever met. I love to snuggle, I love to play with toys and my doggy friends and I am so excited to finally get my very own forever family. I am moving to Connecticut this week so let the search begin! Since I have had so little It won't take much to impress me, but mostly I’m looking for love. And snuggles. And kisses.
