Happy boy Casper we rescued off the streets of Sacramento in October 2021. We left reports at all our shelters and posted everywhere with no luck. He was most likely dumped and abandoned by some assholes! Well he ended up in the best care and we love him! Now it’s time to find him a forever home! <br/><br/>Casper is around 2 years old but has had a rough life. He’s a short stocky ham! He went to our vet for a full check up. He is neutered, got all his vaccines, bloodwork, and microchipped. They checked his eye out and started him on medication. There’s a lot of scar tissue so we are hoping the meds help. They think it’s from a old injury or a ulcer that was never treated. <br/><br/>Casper has opened up a lot. He was so scared and skittish. He wouldn’t approach me and would just run off. He would pancake to the ground and pee. Now he loves getting attention!! His body never stops wiggling, hence why i always call him Mr.Wiggles! He is so sweet and dog friendly. He is doing really good with the crate training and learning his basic commands. He loves his toys and going on outdoor adventures. You can tell he was just a yard dog that barely ever got any attention! Never again will he go back to that shitty life! I’m so glad we took him in as I doubt he would have made it out of the shelter. <br/><br/>Casper is ready for a bully experienced home! When we adopt out our dogs we want it to be their forever home, not until the family gives up on them. This is why we are so picky with adoptions and have a long process. It’s about finding the right match for our dog and you.
