He going to be 4 months old soon and he is doing well with new dog friends of all sizes. He needed to move to a new foster to help with his cage and house training and he is doing very well. Pee Wee and and his sister are quite bonded so unless he gets adopted with her, he will need a playful confident dog buddy- probably a female would be best. Pee Wee likes to be held and he also loves to be petted. He responds like a cat when you rub his fur- its very cute!! Pee Wee also wants to be where ever you are-- he and his sister follow me around the yard like I am their momma. Pee Wee is still a little guy weighing under 15lbs, but he is still growing and will probably weigh under 30lbs at an adult. He seems to favor his Toy Fox Terrier/ Chihuahua side even though he has a lot of Beagle in him. He is so ready to find his new Foster to Adopt home. <br/><br/>July 2026: Casey is a delightful puppy and ready for his forever home. He is about 3 months old now and getting close to being house trained. His cage training is going well. Casey plays so well with his brother and the resident senior dog and we would like him to find a new loving family that has a playful companion for him to help with his confidence building. Casey is about 12lbs now and may grow to be about 25lbs as an adult. Look at his pretty face- he is so charming!!<br/><br/>***DNA NEWS*** I have some of Casey's results posted at the Emma's Family Facebook page. Wisdom Panel shows that the puppies have several breeds mixed into their genetics. Besides Beagle, of course, there is also Chihuahua, Pomeranian and Toy Fox Terrier which could explain his beautiful tri-color markings on his face. The Pom influence can explain their beautiful soft coats!! <br/><br/>Casey was born on April 7th to the cutest most amazing Beagle we rescued from a shelter in Central, Illinois. We are not sure who the daddy is but we do plan to DNA test when they are 6 weeks old and hope to get an idea. The puppies are doing great, growing like weeks and their mamma Emma is playing with them and their foster mom and friends are handling. They will be confident little pups when it is time for them to move to their new families.<br/><br/>We are only looking for Foster to Adopt in the Chicaqo area with safe fenced in yards. As Beagles are very social dogs, it would be ideal if the puppies find homes with other friendly confident dogs. I can go over our Foster to Adopt protocols once an application is in.
