Casey

Casey is a sweetheart of a dog! We think that she is a Pekingese/Shih tzu mix (otherwise known a “Shinese, Peke-a-Tzu, or Shih-teze”). We’re not really sure of her age. Her owner claimed to have gotten her from a rescue group in Iowa and that she was 6 years old. <br/><br/>However when our vet examined Casey she found that she only had 3 very rotten teeth left in her mouth. Of course those teeth had to be removed so she is now toothless however she has no problem whatsoever eating! <br/><br/>There are malnutrition issues and antibiotic use that can cause a puppy’s teeth to rot so we can’t definitively say how old she is but we’re estimating between 8 to 10 yrs old. Whatever Casey’s real age is, she doesn’t act like an old girl. She’s a happy camper who is wagging that curled tail of hers as often as she can.<br/><br/>Casey’s adoption fee is $350.
