Meet Casey!<br/><br/>Casey is a female, australian cattle dog, red heeler/Catahoula leopard dog mix and born October 2025! She is progressing very well in her foster home! She doesn’’t mind her leash now and is potty trained! She is still very shy around new people, not aggressive, just nervous. Once she gets comfortable she is a lovebug, just prefers canine comfort. She is very curious, but still fearful and learning that humans are nice and not scary! She has truly come such a long way from where she started! She is working on her crate training and doing well! She would do best in a home with other dogs to show her the ways and things are safe, and a fenced in back yard! <br/><br/>She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on vaccinations and monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate vaccinations, microchip, and her spay when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dog’s age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on dhpp/rabies and monthly preventatives) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
