Cartier's Story

<p>Barks and Meows Rescue introduces Cartier. She is one of 3 female sisters surrendered to our Rescue by the owner. The Mom is a Bull Terrier mix and the father is a Shep/Border Collie (see photos). The Mom is 65lbs and Dad is 70 lbs. These pups have short hair coats. We have named them after famous Jewelers. She was born Aug 26 2024.</p><br/><br/><div dir="auto">Cartier is a gentile girl who is a little shy at first. . She loves other dogs and needs a home with a canine companion. Cartier is great on car rides and will happily lay down the whole time. She loves her walks and sometimes get the zoomies. She is fully crate trained. but doesn't sleep in one at night.</div><br/><br/><div dir="auto"></div><br/><br/><div dir="auto">Cartier does not chew or mouth and is a nice quiet loving gal. She has not been exposed to cats at this point.</div><br/><br/><div dir="auto">Cartier is treat motivated so training is easy however she wants to be near here people so will follow you around and will sit when asked if she is feeling confident and comfortable.</div><br/><br/><div dir="auto"></div><br/><br/><div dir="auto">Cartier does not jump or go on furniture. She is happy to have her dog bed and goes to her place easily. She requires a second resident socialized dog in the home, a male being the better fit. Her current BFF is Ferris who is also up for adoption.</div><br/><br/><div dir="auto"></div><br/><br/><div dir="auto">Cartier has really come into her element now that her sister Bulgari was adopted. She is more independent and outgoing than when she was younger. She weighs about 47 lbs and has a short-mid hair coat. We are so pleased that she listens well and is very quick at learning new tasks.
