<p>Carson is a 3-year-old lovebug who came to us from Skid Row in California. His beginnings may have been rough, but somehow, he never let them change his incredibly sweet spirit. Carson was surrendered by a person experiencing homelessness who was no longer able to care for him, giving this special boy a chance at a very different life. He is playful, affectionate, and absolutely loves being loved. These days, Carson is happily trading sleeping on concrete for soft beds, plenty of snuggles, and all the spoiling his foster family can give him. Evergreen Pug Rescue's Adoption Policy
Our adoption process begins with an application submitted by the potential adopter. An adoption coordinator then reviews the application and conducts a phone interview to learn more about the family. If initially approved, we complete a home visit, background check, and reference check. Once fully approved, our adoption and foster coordinators work together to find the best match for the dogs in our care. Finally, a meet-and-greet is scheduled, and if it’s a good fit, the adoption contract is signed — leading to a happily ever after!
