Carrot's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hello beautiful human! I am so thankful you stumbled upon my profile! My name is Carrot and I am looking for a wonderful home to call my own. The rescue took me in as a stray dog and has been getting to know me. They quickly found out how insanely sweet, smart and well behaved I am. I like to go on walks and nap in my kennel. I am moderately active and will likely adapt well in most homes. I have not been child or cat tested yet, but I do like other dogs! Ultimately I am just a good girl who deserves an amazing home.

I am just 45 lbs but I appear larger in pictures. I have a beautiful dark brindle coat.

I hope to meet you soon!!

XOXO CarrotAdoption Fees:

Dogs: $250
Cats: $95
Puppies under 4 months: $235 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

Kittens under 4 months: $70 plus Spay/Neuter Deposit: $100

All pets available for adoption have been spayed or neutered (unless under 4 months), are current on vaccinations, preventatives, and micro-chipped. All cats have been tested and confirmed negative for Feline AIDS (FIV) and Leukemia (FeLV). All dogs have been tested for heartworm disease.

Please call 919.774.9433 or email cara@cara-nc.org if you like more information on the pet above or other pets available for adoption.

If you would like to adopt this pet or any of their friends, please visit CARA to fill out an online application.

DOG APPLICATION

CAT APPLICATION

Every animal that comes into the CARA program is here because one or more events occurred that led to this animal needing not only a home, but a person or family to love and protect them. Each animal has been loved and cared for by a small and determined group of people who want nothing more than to know each animal is safe for the rest of his or her life. Thank you for looking to adopt!
