Carla is estimated to be between 3-4 years old and is a female Scottish Terrier mix who was rescued from a puppy mill. <br/>Carla quickly won over the staff's hearts as soon as she arrived. Not only is she absolutely adorable, but she also has a great little personality too! She is still coming out of her shell, but she has come so far in the short time she's been here. She adores people and gets extremely excited for visitors. She will crawl into your lap and soak up all the attention you can dish out. <br/>She enjoys going for walks and does pretty well on the leash. She does have a habit of doing an army crawl at times, so she will need a little encouragement to get her feet moving. **Please note that Carla requires a home with a fenced in yard**<br/>This sweet girl is bound to bring so much joy to her forever home, and she is ready to meet you!<br/><br/>Interested in adopting? You must fill out an adoption application and be approved before visiting with puppies aged 4 months old and younger.<br/>Applying for Adoption:<br/>Fill out an adoption application in person at the shelter during adoption hours. We do not offer adoption applications online. If you live at a distance (1-1/2+ hour away), you can call us at 724-539-2544 to complete an adoption application by phone. Calls are returned within 48 hours.<br/>Bring the following pertinent documents with you:<br/>Pet Owners: Vet records of all your current pets.<br/>Homeowners: Proof of home ownership – a property tax or mortgage document. Utility bills are not accepted.<br/>Renters: Landlord’s phone number and copy of your lease. We must speak to your landlord to be considered for adoption.<br/>Valid ID: You must be 21 years or older.<br/>Dog Owners:<br/>If you currently have dogs at your home, we require a meet and greet with the shelter dog you are interested in.
