Carl is a striking boy with a classic Rottie look — big head, slim waist, and those deep, expressive eyes that tell a story all their own. He came to AHeinz as a stray, so his past is a bit of a mystery, but what we do know is that Carl thrives once he learns to trust. He can be a little cautious when meeting new people, especially men, but once he decides you’re part of his circle, you’ll see his goofy, loyal, and affectionate side shine through. In addition to being “super-sweet” and a “good, good boy” ( according to shelter staff), he is also smart and knows how to sit, lay down, and roll over (he is very food motivated and easy to train!) He is potty trained and not at all destructive with his toys or bed.
