Cardigan is quirky, loving, and special. Though timid at first, once she's comfortable she's a wild child - full of zoomies, kisses, parkour, and snorts reminiscent of a porcupine eating a pumpkin, or perhaps an Ewok with a message? A fairy tail woodland creature making soup? She's got a "quiet nerd who eats alone at lunch but blossoms at her weekly DND night vibe. Her personality is likely to have been imagined by a 7 year old who loves cartoons, in the best possible way. All that quirky energy is only matched by the immeasurable and massive love she has! She's expert at smothering her besties with love only to slither (literally) in and entangle herself with them and sleep all afternoon. She finds personal space to be overrated and wants nothing more than to sleep as close as possible next to her loved ones with her head on their shoulder and kisses goodnight. She lives to give and receive love, and will dote on her loved ones endlessly. She is an absolutely perfect, cuddly darling.


Cardigan has tested positive for heartworm and she is undergoing treatment at our Ellis Veterinary Clinic. OTAT will cover the cost of her treatment until she is heartworm negative. She is currently in the first (Doxycycline) phase of treatment and will be undergoing injections on 3 future dates (TBD). She will need to remain on exercise restriction for the next ~9 months. Cardigan's adoption fee is $300. She is spayed, up to date on core vaccines, microchipped and heartworm positive.
