He is all cleaned up and ready to move on to the life he should have had from the beginning. Captain is the easiest going of the bunch and actively seeks affection. He is dominant and will resource guard from the others so we would ideally like for him to be the only dog or have a submissive or neutral companion. He would love a quiet home where he can get all the cuddles. He is also fantastic for grooming. Included in this fee is also life- long training support provided by PLAY! K9 Academy located in Bradenton, FL as well as Life time microchip registration. When you adopt from a local shelter, you may not receive any medical history for this dog nor will you receive any behavioral history. We hope you understand that the minimal adoption fee we are asking is to continue our mission to rescue unwanted herding and working breeds from shelters/owners and get them adopted to their forever home. PLAY! K9 Rescue will pay for the spay/neuter of this adopted dog. The spay/neuter must be done at a clinic or veterinarian&#39;s office approved by PLAY! K9 Rescue. If the adopter chooses to take the pet to their own veterinarian for the spay/neuter procedure, PLAY! K9 Rescue will refund the cost equivalent to an approved PLAY! K9 Rescue veterinarian or clinic. All of our unaltered pets have a fully refundable deposit of $150.00 included within the adoption fee. Once the pet is altered at the appropriate time and proof supplied to our rescue, the adopter will be reimbursed $150.00. Our adoption contract explains this process in detail.
