Captain Kangaroo, Captain Jack Sparrow, Captain America, Cap'n Crunch....he doesn't care what he's the Captain of as long as he is the top dog and gets all the attention. But in a good way! The best way to describe him is that he’s hilarious. He wastes no time in letting you know that he is a cutie patootie and a love bug. This Captain will capture your heart very quickly and hold it prisoner. <br/>He likes to play.<br/>He likes to play fetch without the fetching. He loves the thrill of running to catch the ball but prefers to lay down and play with the ball than bring it back to you. We are working on that!<br/>He doesn’t like a lot of chaos. He does bark and shows that he’d rather stay away from the riffraff. He just doesn’t like being around a lot of dogs all the time. (Let's face it, most of us don't like being around a lot of people especially lately! LOL ) He would rather be with one or two that are low key. BUT with that being said he is getting along with ALL 9 of the dogs in his CT foster home. <br/>He’s also a lapdog. He will sit on a lap for hours at a time without any hesitation. He's like a gold Olympian in the lap sitting event. The Captain of the lap, so to speak! He’s curious about cats but doesn't want to hurt them. He's the kind of dog that a meet and greet with your cat is going to depend on YOUR cat. If you have a cat that is going to run immediately on sight..... that's like screaming "GAME ON!" to a game of tag. And the chase will begin. If your cat is going to stand their ground or give him a paw to the face, then the tone will be set that he may be the Captain, but the cat is the Admiral. And guess what else Captain likes? Goats! He had a best friend that was a little goat in Texas! <br/><br/>Captain has made his journey north from Texas and is currently fostered in New Milford, CT. <br/><br/>Zen Dog CT's adoption donation is $550.00.
