CANO - sweetest dog ever!!

This handsome boy is CANO! Pictures don't do this boy justice!<br/><br/>***Cano is being fostered in Riva, MD (Annapolis area) and is ready for a meet and greet!***<br/><br/>Cano is about 4 months old and 18 lbs as of late April 2026. We think he's a Lab / Shepherd mix. Best guess on full grown weight is no more than 40 lbs. Cano was named as he is because of his coloring which basically alludes to a grey-haired old man ;)<br/><br/>Old man he is not, however! He, in fact, has such a puppy-like innocent personality that makes us smile and chuckle. He loves to play around and innocently will put his two paws on the kitchen counter to see what is being made for dinner. His foster mom is doing her best to teach him good manners immediately (and he's an excellent student, taking cues well) but we can't help but secretly like his antics.<br/><br/>His foster mom raves about him, saying that he is SUCH a sweetie pie and that he has a heart of pure gold. He really makes a wonderful family dog!<br/><br/>Cano is great with children and is currently in a home with kids ages 11, 8 and 5. <br/><br/>Cano is also great with other dogs! While he is currently being fostered without any dogs in the home, before he flew from Puerto Rico, he was with many other dogs and loved them all. He really enjoys the interaction and playtime. While he would love to have a canine sibling, he would also be just fine as a solo dog as long as he's getting all the attention and playtime he needs!<br/><br/>We think he's also be great with cats as he is a young puppy learning about the world. <br/><br/>Please feel free to email us with any questions about him!
