She’s a quiet, well-mannered girl who’s ready to settle right into her forever home! Already crate trained and potty trained, she has a great foundation and makes daily life a breeze!<br/><br/>Candy truly stands out for her beautiful looks and happy nature! Meeting new people is her absolute favorite activity and you can often see her whole booty moving and shaking with excitement! She keeps all four paws on the ground when greeting people (no jumping!) and is excellent about chewing only on her toys—not your shoes or furniture! She’s also always smiling, with the happiest, softest expression, and has a very submissive, gentle demeanor with people!<br/><br/>This girl is fantastic with kids and has a loving, patient personality that makes her a perfect family companion. She also LOVES fetch and will happily play, then settle down right by your side when she’s done. Plus, she rides great in the car, making her an easy buddy for errands or adventures!<br/><br/>With other dogs, she does well but benefits from slow, proper introductions. She’s currently working on sharing food, toys, and water with other dogs, though she has no issues sharing with people. This dog is currently located in Chicago's southwest suburbs and can be seen by appointment once an adoption application is completed and approved by the rescue. Breed and age estimates are based on veterinary advice, shelter records, physical appearance, and information provided by previous owners.<br/><br/>The adoption fee includes: Spay/neuter (performed at one of our partner veterinarians as scheduled by the rescue) Microchip Rabies vaccine DHPP vaccine Bordetella vaccine 4DX test (Heartworm, Anaplasmosis, Ehrlichia, Lyme Disease) General wellness care, including deworming, heartworm prevention, and flea/tick prevention Your adoption fee also helps support medical care for other rescue animals, including heartworm treatments, surgeries, and emergency care.
