She is sweet happy, fun, curious, and loving. She can be a little shy but warms up quickly and loves her people's attention, belly rubs and ear rubs are her favorite! She enjoys snuggling, playing with squeaky toys, and being your shadow. She's optimistic and ready for fun but not clingy. Being picked up quickly does make her a little nervous. She does better if you pet her, let her get calm and gently pick her up. She's quick to adapt to her environment and be happy wherever she is. She is working on her leash and potty training right now and doing well! She is already crate trained and does well with kids! Just a happy girl seeking a happy family!<br/><br/>She is being fostered in Richmond, VA and is up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, has been dewormed, and is on monthly preventatives. Her adoption fee is $375 and covers the cost of age-appropriate core vaccinations, microchip, and required spay when age-appropriate. We require that all adopters, regardless of the dogs age, are committed to ongoing training and socialization as part of responsible ownership. We require adopters to be within a reasonable distance of Richmond or Virginia Beach in order to complete spay/neuter with our approved clinics.<br/><br/>Note: Sending a Petfinder inquiry is not submitting an application. We require a completed adoption application to move forward with adoption.<br/><br/>Beagles and Bentleys has an across-the-board evaluative process that we apply to every application we review that prioritizes our animals in need. We conduct a vet reference check (all resident dogs must be altered/up to date on DHPP/rabies and monthly preventatives, and cats must be altered and up to date on rabies) and a virtual home visit call where we discuss the adoption process and see your home.
