Callie - Training Graduate Ready for Forever Home!'s Story
Meet Callie!

Update: Callie is about to graduate from the Ridge Dogs program! This is a program that allows inmates in a local correctional facility to train dogs as part of their own healing process. We are so proud of her and her progress and know that she will make a great companion!

Callie came to Red Waggin' Rescue when she had been dumped in eastern Washington. Someone witnessed the person dumping her with her legs tied together. Isn't that awful?!

Callie is about one year old and in good health. Though we recently noted that Callie does have a tooth that needs to come out, and she still needs her spay.

Callie is very friendly and still trusting of people.. She has been described as having "typical lab energy." Even with her training, she still is an energetic girl, but the program has helped her harness it in a positive direction.

She is good with other dogs. She will need dogs of similar age and energy for sure.

The very best thing about Callie is that she has a heart of gold. She is a wiggly puppy that sometimes jumps up on you, BUT she is SO affectionate and loyal. She just wants love and to be loved so badly. She is quite honestly the most loyal dog we have in our 30 dogs in rescue.

She would do best with a calm home environment, with someone who has the time to focus on her, and who is consistent, and ideally working from home or around a lot.

ADOPTION INFO
Dog adoption fees include:
- All Basic Dog Vaccinations
- Rabies
- Bordetella
- Flea & Tick Treatment
- Spay (Up to $400)
- Neuter (Up to $300)
- Microchip & Registration

All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs and cats in our rescue.

APPLY ON OUR WEBSITE AT THE LINKS BELOW

ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://www.redwagginrescue.org/adopt

FOSTER APPLICATION: https://www.redwagginrescue.org/foster

Please don't hesitate to contact us at ConnellPetRescue@gmail.com, if you have any questions or would like more information.
