VIP: Callie is so pretty! She is about 21 months of age and very playful. She needs some training and some social skills taught to her but she seems to be a smart dog who should learn quickly. Callie is a little shy at first but comes around fairly quickly. She will be best in a home without young children due to her shyness. <br/>Callie went on a group dog walk to a park along with other dogs from the shelter and was very calm among the other dogs on the walk. She was timid and her tail was tucked a bit at the beginning of the walk but was very relaxed midway through. Callie was easy to walk with minimal pulling on the leash. She knows "sit" and "lay down". She did not exhibit any aggression toward the other dogs or walkers, and did great when meeting people on the walk. <br/><br/><br/>Adopted animals are not able to go to their new home until spay and neuter surgery has been done. <br/>Adoptions are first come first serve, and no appointment or application is needed.
