Cali's Story
Miss Cali!

This beautiful senior lady is around 10ish years old. Shes a mastiff/staffy mix, and currently on the thicker side weighing closer to 100lbs.

Cali came from the California fires back in 2018, where she was left behind when her family lost their home. She made her journey up to Wa to a family. Her dog brother of the last 6 years is her best friend. Recently her current family is being faced with the same challenges, and Miss Cali is needing to find a new home once again. We would love to keep her and her brother together, but also understand it would be hard to place two seniors in the same home. We think Cali would be ok without her bestie, but we would love to place her in a home with another dog that matches her mellow energy.

Currently in her situation she is home alone often, so she isn’t getting the proper exercise and stimulation- she is free eating out of boredom. She will need to get on a good exercise program of going for walks every day or having outside time in the yard.
Other than this, Cali is in wonderful health for a senior girl!

She’s your typical happy go lucky staffy. Always wanting a good belly rub, and booty scratch. She’s never met a stranger, and likes to follow her people around wherever they go, without being over barring.
Miss Cali is a true lady of leisure, when she’s not snoozing, she’s lounging. She also loves to go for car rides. She’s the definition of a couch hippo!

Shes lived with small dogs, and kids both young and old. She loves them all! When meeting other dogs, she will need a proper slow intro, but warms up fast, and quickly becomes good buddies with new dogs.

Potty trained, and can be left alone for long periods of time with no issues. She walks good on a leash, but will need to build endurance for longer walks.

Cali is a kind sweet soul, who loves her people, and would love a final forever home where she can snooze, walk, and maybe have a yard to sunbathe in. She’s a low maintenance gal with a heart of gold, who deserves to be loved on for the rest of her days.
If you work from home, or would just love a buddy to fill your space, Cali could truly be the most grateful gal to open your home and heart to.

If interested in meeting Miss Cali, please copy and paste an application below to set up a meet n greet!

https://form.jotform.com/232265690912155

*****Cali is available for fostering as well, or foster to adopt! If you’ve always wanted to foster and never knew how to get into it, please message us for more details. Cali would be a fantastic girl to start with!*****
