Meet Cali

Hi! My name is Cali, a Pit Bull & Bulldog mix, and I love you already! Cali is a sweet princess who is ready to tap dance her way into your heart. She has tons of energy to run and play. She loves to play with all the toys and loves to be the center of attention. Cali is selective as to which dogs she matches with and would do best in a home without cats. Cali has a congenital skin disease called ichthyosis, which means she was born with a defect in the way her skin cells mature, causing the large scale/flakes across her whole body. There is no cure and symptomatic treatments can help manage secondary infections. Don't let that scare you away, while Cali does require a little more than your average dog, it is mostly making sure she gets a bath regularly and medication when needed for secondary infections. She has been spayed, vaccinated including Rabies, wormed, tested for heart worms, and micro-chipped.

Note: To adopt, you must live within approximately 100 miles of one of our adoption sites (Benld or Springfield IL), and be at least 18 years of age.
