Meet Buttons!<br/><br/>Buttons is a beautiful black French Bulldog, about 4–5 years young, who is ready to leave her difficult past behind and start the life she’s always deserved.<br/><br/>Buttons came to us from California’s Central Valley after living a heartbreaking life of neglect. She had been kept in a small cage and used for back-to-back breeding, with very little love or care. Despite everything she’s been through, Buttons has the sweetest, most forgiving personality and greets the world with nothing but joy.<br/><br/>Since arriving in rescue, she has been slowly healing and getting healthier every day with good nutrition, probiotics, medication, and medicated baths. Her coat is still recovering and we’re not sure if it will fully grow back, but one thing is certain — her personality shines brighter than anything else.<br/><br/>Buttons is easy-going, affectionate, and surprisingly athletic. She enjoys going for walks, rides great in the car, and absolutely loves to cuddle. She also has a playful side and would love a home where she can finally enjoy being a dog.<br/><br/>She does well with other dogs, cats, and children, though she can be a little mouthy during play like many Frenchies. This is also the best way to submit additional documents or information. We do keep applications on file for 90days in case the dog you apply for it already adopted or not the right fit simply email us to forward your application on to another dog of interest.<br/><br/>Our dogs are in foster homes all over the Bay Area and all adopters are required to travel to the foster home to meet. We do not have a facility. No meet and greet can happen until application is completed.<br/><br/>Our Commitment to Our Dogs<br/>Every dog in our care receives comprehensive veterinary care, including:<br/>• Spay/Neuter surgery<br/>• Microchipping<br/>• DHPP vaccination<br/>• Flea treatment and deworming<br/>• Rabies vaccination<br/>• Any additional vet care as needed<br/><br/>The adoption fee for this dog is $400 serving as a non-refundable donation to help cover vetting, transport, and care costs.
