Buttercup's Story

Buttercup is almost 3 years old now. We've had her for nearly the entire time. She is not good with kids, she was ok but after being adopted out she came back really nervous around even my roommate's daughter. She's good with other dogs, cats, and horses but will growl and bark at all new people, especially kids. She's leash trained, knows how to sit, and is pretty much housebroken. She can and will jump a 4 foot fence. Would you be interested in sponsoring Buttercup if you can't adopt or foster her? For $25 a month you are helping to cover food/vet/and misc expenses associated with her. The misc expenses being: toys, treats, heartworm preventative, and frontline plus. If you can sponsor her please click on the little puppy below. Thank you! At Autumn Acres Animal Rescue we believe each individual animal matters. We take in special cases some of which will stay with us as a sanctuary dog.If the animal is listed as a Socially Imperfect Dog this means they have special needs and special requirements for potential adopters. If the animal is listed as a Socially Imperfect RESIDENT this animal is NOT available for adoption and is one of our sanctuary residents. We list them on our sites because they still matter and they still need donations to help with their long term care.Check out our website for more information: http://www.autumnacres.org

[Richmond, MO]

Our Mission
Operating as a no-kill facility since 2004, our mission is to identify, rescue and rehabilitate at-risk animals who live in neglectful or abusive circumstances. The animals we help are confused, bewildered, and – most of all – heartbroken. Their trust in humans has been shattered, and we restore that trust with love, warmth...
